Infrared Thermal Inspections
Below, you can see that infrared starts where visible leaves off (in the EM spectrum), the color red grades into reflective infrared. This is the infrared energy reflected from the surface of an object.
Good as it is it is not like an X-ray at the doctor's office. I will not claim to be superman and be able to see through walls. But I will see a lot more than an inspector with a flashlight and a camera.

It is now recognized as the most effective and least intrusive of all building diagnostic procedures. Thermal imaging allows me to easily locate an array of hidden building conditions with astonishing speed and accuracy.
Some customers ask me "How much more do you charge to use this equipment on an inspection?" My reply is none, I wont do an inspection without my IR camera. Not every home has issues that the camera can detect. But there are plenty of homes I inspect that have issues that were only first detectable using this technology.
